Blue Barn Prints and Batiks by Edyta Sitar for Laundry Basket Quilts are on the shelf. These pretty blue and grey fabrics are so lovely and refreshing in the summer heat.
The inspiration behind this collection is to experience something unexpected. A barn is quite often red and part of a summer theme but I happened to stumble across a blue barn in the middle of winter. I was immediately drawn to how the blues and greys contrasted against the white background of the winter snow. My “Blue Barn” collection captures this delicate winter palette – it’s perfect for creating beautiful quilted memories in scraps of family fun and fabrics. ~Edyta Sitar

Endangered Sanctuary Flannels by Holly Taylor for Moda are so soft and cozy and are suitable for the outdoor enthusiast or a special ,ale in your life. The inspiration behind the fabric is also very intriguing…
There isn’t much we love more than Moda’s soft, luscious flannel, except perhaps our most famous Minnesota animal, the moose. When it was placed on the Endangered Species list, we were curious to know if any other local animals and birds might also be on the list. We were astounded to discover how many were, and to realize how we were taking it for granted that some species might soon be lost to history. With this collection, we wanted to highlight our favorite Minnesota wildlife to increase awareness, and to encourage all of us to do what we can to preserve them. ~Holly Taylor
